e.l.f. again! You can expect a lot more, too, because I took advantage of their 50% off best sellers sale. :) I bought this in clear but you can also get it in tone adjusting green, brightening lavender, and radiant glow. It comes in a pump which is awesome. If only my foundation came in a pump. . .It's so convenient. I can't imagine using this primer without one. If you want to read my review just follow the jump!
Of course my camera dies when I'm trying to take pictures so bear with me while I scramble to get pictures up soon. This primer claims that it fills in fine lines and pores. I don't have fine lines yet but the pores around my nose are kind of large so I had some high hopes for this.
Again, I love the e.l.f. packaging. It's very sleek and simple, although when I received mine from Amazon it had leaked out the bottom a bit but I have beef with Amazon over that, not e.l.f. I had previously read reviews saying that the pump broke when they got it but my pump hasn't broke yet, thank goodness. You need so little of this stuff I don't know what I would do without it.
The consistency of this primer is really weird. I assume it's the silica in it but it feels extremely slick, almost oily but it's not. It smells like lotion, also.
I think you get your money's worth with this product. I don't really have any other primer to compare this one to but it works well enough for me that I will probably buy it again. Like I said earlier, I have kind of large pores around my nose and when I used this they appeared a lot smaller. I tested it on my boyfriend who has large pores and he said that it felt like his pores were filled which I thought was funny because it claims it's supposed to fill in your pores. It definitely made my skin feel very smooth and velvety which I really liked and my foundation did go on more smoothly and I could blend it out better. It also made my oily spots a lot less oily which is weird for me because the product feels like it's going to grease your face up but it does the complete opposite.
I really like the e.l.f. primer and will most likely buy this again when I run out. I think this would work for all skin tones but if silica makes you break out, this one is not for you.
