Revlon Nearly Naked Liquid Foundation - 110 Ivory

I just recently bought the new Revlon Nearly Naked foundation in 110 Ivory and have been testing it out for the past week in this sweltering southern heat. Revlon has claimed this product melts into the skin and blends seamlessly.

Revlon Nearly Naked Makeup SPF 20 in 110 Ivory (Retail: $9.99 each, 1 oz)
What did I think? Find out after the jump!

SPF 20?
Makeup so refreshingly light, it melts right in, creating a fresh even look. So the only one that knows you are wearing makeup is you. Blends seamlessly, buildable coverage.
Revlon’s breakthrough nearly naked makeup balances skin and makeup so they work in perfect harmony. With buildable coverage and seamless blending, you are sure to cover flaws and perfect your skin’s tone and texture. No heavy cakey or greasy mess.
Available in a whopping 16 "true to tone shades", there seems to be a shade for everyone. The general consensus is that that is, indeed, true. This formula is pretty forgiving so you shouldn't have a hard time ballparking your ideal shade. But if you want a second opinion, Revlon has an instore guide and a quick online survey to help you with shade matching.

The packaging is very clean and fresh, I think. I like the glass bottle and white cap. I also like how when you close the top, it clicks into place so I don't feel like it's going to come open and spill everywhere. What I don't like is that there's no pump! Drugstore foundations need to get with the times and start putting pumps on foundation bottles (L'Oreal True Match Lumi, anyone?). I always overpour and that's just wasteful. But anyways, I digress.

Emma Watson wearing 120 Vanilla for Revlon

When researching this product I was having a difficult time deciding between whether to get 110 Ivory or 120 Vanilla. In the ads they showed Emma Watson wearing Vanilla and I think we have a pretty similar skintone. Upon further inspection (and research) Vanilla had a more yellow, warm undertone and Ivory has a more pink, cool undertone. So the shades are pretty aptly named.

Unblended and blended
Okay, now onto the actual product review. I think I'm in love. I tried Revlon Colorstay for combo skin and that was too heavy. I tried Revlon Whipped and that was too greasy and cakey. I was using Maybelline Dream Fresh BB with Rimmel Stay Matte over it until I bought this. The BB was nice but it didn't provide the coverage or wear time I was looking for: light but long wearing. This foundation is exactly what I was looking for. It literally melts into your skin and looks so natural. I saw where other people were saying the finish was matte and I don't know if it's because my skin is kind of oily or what but I get a nice, dewy, natural finish. I don't even realize I'm wearing it. It just feels so natural. And OMG the longevity! I walk to campus and back from my apartment and this lasted all day in the 90 degree humid weather. I was very surprised by that. I expected to make a touch up midday. But nope, I did my makeup at 9:00 in the morning and it still looked fab at 5:00. I'm not sure how it will work with my skin in the winter months when my skin's drier but I'm hoping I can keep using it.

This is definitely Chloe certified!
